Contra: Spirit of War Redux is a fan game based on the Konami Contra series with 8-bit graphics and gameplay features typical of the later games in the series, such as smart bombs, the ability to carry two weapons, move on hanging rails, and more.

　　A new danger threatens the Earth. The private military company "Blue Hornet" plans to establish a new world order with the help of a powerful artifact received from an alien patron. At the same time, the aliens planned a new invasion with the Blue Hornet. Bill Raiser and Lance Bean must stop them and capture the artifact.
